Specifically designed for the defence industry the RPR FOM is the reference for HLA federation when it comes to defence. The RPR FOM includes complex data structures that have been modeled within Simulink using some of the HLA Blockset components. The objective was to provide preconfigured subsystems to the HLA Blockset user to speed up development time by saving on FOM analysis.

Working with Object and Interactions, the user do not have to understand all the data structures used to create a specific class. The blocks from the library just need to be drag into the model where they can be adjusted and/or modify according to the user needs and used with the HLA Blockset functionalities in order to encode or decode information to be sent or received by other HLA federates.
